There are a lot of homes with incredible lights this year. The list below are highlighting but you are not restricted to voting for just those.

- New member payments
- Char thinks we have 87 but Terri and Carla think 83. We cleared this up, some money was from the raffle and overpayments.
- Non-recurring projects/events:
- Recurring events
- National Night Out – BBQ food truck had 39 orders and popsicle guy did fine.
- Thanks to all the volunteers that distributed flyers.
- October – clean-up day for the front – Sat Oct 8
- Trim bushes, pull weeds
- dig holes and plant 5 Texas Sages
- Dig holes and replace 4 rose bushes
- The median is a mess, tree roots have upended the watering, rocks are everywhere, suggestions on what to do with that
- Spread wildflower seeds in the field after cleanup
5. Discussions/Voting/ neighborhood updates:
- Vote for Tammy Davison to be on the board as Event Coordinator
- Need to discuss budget for events. See the table below:
- MUD fees to be removed from Nov 2021. (I will repeat this in the newsletter through NOV so new people know about it)
- Playground at back park. Park equipment updated but no shade. Terri sent info to Charles Mabry Parks and Recreation Department | City of Austin, he said he will put us on a list to get shade structures in the fall. Charles.Mabry@austintexas.gov.

- Greg wants to keep informed of the homeless encampment issue. We all need to keep watching for Ann Kitchen and when neighbors get the opportunity to comment to the city. Bylaws have been updated on the site. Confirm our bylaws are voted and updates/Terri need to update the website – Terri to update on the website.

- Cleaning the front entrance. Will we have an October clean up date and see if we can get residents to help?

National Night Out Tuesday Aug 3, 2021 from 5-7:30pm
National Night Out (NNO) is a yearly nationwide initiative that promotes police-community partnerships and neighbourhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer. We will have a casual meet and greet in the back park and 2 food trucks to enjoy.
So grab your neighbor and come to the back park, bring the kids, BYOB, bring a chair and socialize.
Simpsons BBQ, Classic smoked brisket, pulled pork and fall-off-the-bone ribs all make for a menu that won’t make you re-think barbecue, but will definitely raise your bar for it. Check the menu here:
And you may remember the popular popsicles from last year, Mom & Pops All Natural Frozen Pops will have a variety from their amazing selection. They are $3 each and they accept all types of payments on site.
